In all our greenhouses, energy screens are installed, a type of curtain that closes in the evening to retain heat. This keeps the greenhouse climate stable without the need for additional heating. These smart screens save a tremendous amount of energy and help make our cultivation more sustainable.

At several locations, we have even invested in double energy screens. The first screen retains heat, while the second screen ensures that less light escapes from the greenhouse in the evening and at night. This is beneficial for the environment as it prevents light pollution and reduces energy loss.

The screens are automatically controlled via a digital climate system that takes temperature, humidity, and light into account. This way, they respond precisely to what the plants need.
