Store tomatoes and cucumbers outside the refrigerator. This prevents them from losing flavor and developing cold damage.
Tomatoes are rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Good for your immune system and healthy heart and blood vessels.
A cucumber's skin is full of fiber and nutrients.
Wash the cucumber, but preferably don't peel it!
Sorting and packaging
In two modern packaging facilities of Growers United, many of our tomatoes and cucumbers are centrally sorted and packaged. Processes here are optimally arranged, keeping costs competitive while ensuring each customer receives exactly what they need.
Within 24 hours after harvest, they’re ready for transport. Fresh, reliable, and custom-packaged.
Sales and marketing
Our cucumbers and tomatoes from our nursery go all over Europe. Through Growers United, they are not only packaged, but also marketed. The cooperative’s sales and marketing team maintains contacts with exporters and works closely with retailers and food service partners.
