As Head of Technical Services at ACRES, you’ll ensure that our technical systems, machinery, and packaging lines continue to operate at peak performance. What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will ensure that the logistics and packaging process runs smoothly (technically) and it is your responsibility to ensure that our cucumbers and tomatoes are ready for transport on time and in top condition.

In addition to managing a small team in the barn, you will be involved in preparing and checking orders and moving products and barrels internally with an EPT or forklift. In doing so, you will work with the latest machinery, recently installed to package our cucumbers and tomatoes simultaneously and interchangeably.

Vegetables from the 13.3-acre greenhouse are weighed and packed on our new packing line, with two destackers and two palletizers. In addition, at this location on Groeneweg, you will work with a Gearbox, a strapping and box folding machine and a new induction system for the harvest carts.

With your technical insight, you quickly resolve (minor) malfunctions and keep the process running.
